One thing that all Carly’s fans have been eagerly anticipating this year is some original music. We know she’s been working on a new song this month thanks to @tobygad‘s newly signed producer @AFSHeeNMUSIC.

But today we get news that some original music might be closer to completion.
Got the call from @carlyrosemusic and she loves the song. These moments make all the time spent in studio worth it.

The interesting thing is whether or not some dubstep found it’s way into the final edit. This is an element Carly talked about briefly in her StageIt show back in February, so stay tuned to see what they have in store. We’ll have all the latest developments as they become available.
In other news, Carly is currently on the cover of the Spring issue of @justinemagazine. In the article Carly talks more about her music and acting ambitions, but also reveals other fun facts such as her favorite hobby, TV shows, and craziest fan encounter. Below is an excerpt,
I want to put out music that I’m really confident in and stay true to the style that I came into the show with in the beginning. I want to make sure everything I put out has those soulful elements but I want to stay current. I want people to be able to hear a song and know it’s me!
